Ok, I'm going to explain to those people on pcg that was always
asking me why make another petz forum when there's already one called pcg. first
off all, this is not just a petz forum, its for everything and anything you
want, if you want some pets stuff on tc, its going to be on tc, all you have to
do is just post a topic about your new forum idea in the "suggestions" area
and I'll take a look at it and if its something that is not on tc already, most
likely it'll be added.

why tc was made(1)
first of all, I was on
PCG for about or almost 2 years or so and I wanted a forum for people to have
fun on and enjoy, so I posted on pcg about it, a lot of people was complaining
about me making a forum, like they were saying why make another petz forum when
there's already one, pcg is the best and no one can beat pcg, I'm not trying to
beat pcg or be better then pcg or anything like that all, that's not even close
to why I made this forum in the first place. I made this forum because I wanted
a forum and a forum for people to have fun and enjoy like they do on
pcg.

why so much less rules on tc(2)
I don't like
to cut peoples freedom on my forum and I don't want to have a lot of rules to
remember so I know if some one is not following them (I just have to
remember 4 rules instead of like 10-15 and up like most
forums).

on pcg for helping me to get started on running a forum. There isn't really much to say about how tc got its name. it all
started over at PCG like anything else at pcg and tc helped created by PCG, I
had a lot of hard time trying to find a name for my forum, so PCG gave me an
idea for a name, so I saw "community" in pcgs name and I thought about using it
and now I got this thought, I need to add something to that and cant be just
"community" so I thought long and hard some more and "the" kept popping up in my
head as I was trying to think, so I put the two words together and I liked it
and it was the only forum name that I could think of, maybe I could have went by
my site name "sawdust" at some point if I have used the name of my pet site
name, I would just put it on the same server as my pet site and just put like
"sawdust.vndv.com/forum" note. this is
not a url to anything (just an example).
I just thought I might post
this so you guys know how tc got here and why I made a forum for
^_^.
well it all starts on pcg, and I posted somewhere on pcg (cant
remember where on pcg right now) about me wanting a forum, and a lot of people
replied to my thread saying things like why make another forum when no one is
going to join on another forum?, pcg is the only forum that I like and pcg is
the best forum out there or something like that, but they said something like
that, they also said, no one can beat pcg, and I said I'm not trying to beat
pcg, I just want a forum for people to have fun on and enjoy, that's all I'm
trying to do, nothing more, so now you know why I made tc, that was why I made
my forum, now for how tc got here, well it all started on pcg with one person on
pcg "liz", just gave me a url to get a free pre made,hosted forum and I looked
in to it, joined to get my forum and then "grace" said on that thread, I don't
think shes going to be much of help, she just gave you a link, I think she said
more then that but that's how much I remember of what she said, I replied to
"grace" saying well at least she's trying to help and she's the only one that is
trying to help, then after a while, I got about 25 members and they weren't
doing anything or if they were doing stuff, it wasn't much, and then I wanted to
get this kind of a forum, where you download a forum package (like pcg) then
unzip if not already unziped, then find a host with good bandwidth and disk
space and then upload all files to the server and then start the installation
process like connecting the forum to the database and stuff and then edit/delete
some files/folders and then start adding content (forums and your rules and
banner etc) and this is the first forum that I can backup the database. I gotta
work on getting moderators at some point (I'm thinking when i get about 10-25
members or if the members start posting hot and heavy sooner). I don't have many
friends and that would not want to be a moderator on this forum :/, so I may
have to see who I can trust
more.

Thank you for join the fun on tc and
I'll promiss you that you will have fun and will not be able to not find
something that is not fun, I hope you enjoy your stay at tc and I've put a a lot
of thought in to the forum of what to add and what the forum should be about the
most (everything as possible) some of the members on tc had ideas and told me
about their ideas and then those ideas was taken and used on tc so thank you
members of tc for your time to make us more fun then we ever been and better.

there.

to all tc posting rules before posting in any forum on tc.
you will be banned
if I warned you too many times, (I'll warn you if this is my finale
warning)
I'll ban you for a short time (maybe 2-5 hours to show you that I
mean it if I warned you the 2nd time).
my main focus is on these rules
1 no
spamming others on tc, in topics/posts.
2 no bullying other members.
3 no
harassing other members in pm's/topics,reply's etc
4 no selling stuff for
real money or anything that relates to being paid with real money.
if
you're being harassed,bullied,spammed etc, please do us a huge favor by
reporting these people and I'll contact that person/people to please stop
bugging you (in a nice way along with a
warning).
